PURPOSE:GOYA is designed to provide our Annunciation young people with an atmosphere whereby they may learn more about themselves and their faith, in the safety of the Church. GOYA centers around four elements: Liturgy, Worship, Service, and Witness. These elements are the cornerstone of all activities whether religious, athletic, or social. This youth group provides an environment within the Orthodox Church for our young people to develop and expand their understanding of their faith and each other, as well as enforce the fact that they always have a home at the Annunciation.

MEMBERSHIP: Open to all Orthodox young people between the ages of 13 –18. Active membership in the GOYA is one of the qualifying requirements for the Annunciation Scholarship. This is yet another vital ministry that continually invites adults to offer their time and talents for the health and well being of our youth.

ACTIVITIES: GOYA meetings and activities are announced in the weekly/monthly bulletins and include retreats, camps, excursions, parties, and community outreach as well as a host of other events.
